Welcome to the World
Hello little one,
I hear you have arrived into this world on the 3rd of April 3, 2007 at 1.20 a.m when your aunt here was fast asleep. You were born in your mother’s hometown, miles away from your father’s home. That is how the tradition goes. Your aunts here had been anticipating your arrival since the day your dad left to be with your mom and your grandparents. Your paternal grandmother was extremely elated when your aunt here spoke to her. I, your aunt, spoke to your mummy and she says you had troubled her loads. Now, don’t you worry about that little one. I hear all moms complain about the same thing. We will make your momma forget about all that isn’t it?? All you have to do is keep flashing your smile, everyday, and ask mommy dearest to get well soon. Keep egging her on to bring you to your aunts and uncles here who are waiting to have one look at you. Your elder cousin too must be eager to meet you. I believe he has been briefed about your arrival. He is 3 yrs older to you and quite the superstar himself. He is also really affectionate and your papa’s darling too.
Your mom and dad tell me you look like your dad. I hope when you grow up, you become as loving and caring as he is. Your aunts will vouch for the love he has always bestowed upon his little sisters, just like a father does. I am sure you will inculcate the same traits. And I hope you have the infectious smile of your mom, the genuine warmth that it exudes. Oh, little one. I, your aunt can’t wait to meet you.
And there is another side. This aunt of yours shares her birthday with your paternal grandma. And you share it with one of your uncles. Now believe it or not, that is a license to spoil in the family. That’s a given. We will give you the love that your dad has given us, and more.
So to keep it simple, welcome to the world O little one. Will be looking forward to meeting you real soon
